The first in the world.. an oral anti-Corona vaccine

 The Chinese city of Shanghai began distributing oral COVID-19 vaccines on Wednesday, in what appears to be the first of its kind in the world. The vaccine, a spray that is absorbed through the mouth, is provided free of charge as a booster dose to individuals who have previously received the vaccine, according to the statement posted on the city's official social media account.

It is expected that acupuncture-free vaccines will be welcomed by people who refuse to receive the shots, in addition to helping to expand the scope of vaccination in poor countries for ease of handling. 

China does not require its citizens to obtain vaccines, but it seeks to encourage individuals to obtain booster doses before easing the strict pandemic restrictions that are crippling the economy. A video clip posted online by a Chinese state media showed people at a community health center putting the short spout of a white, translucent cup in their mouths.

The accompanying text said that after receiving al-Razad slowly orally, one person held their breath for 5 seconds, with the entire procedure completed in 20 seconds. In the video, a Shanghai resident said: "It was like drinking a cup of milk tea. When it was drunk, it tasted a little sweet."
