The Speakers of the People's Assembly and the Senate arrive in Galmudug state.

 The Speakers of the People's and Senate Houses of the Somali Federal Parliament, Sheikh Adam Madobe and Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, arrived on Thursday in the city of Dosmarib, the capital of Galmudug State, to support operations against Al-Shabaab.

The two officials and their delegations were welcomed at Dosmarib Airport by the Vice President of Galmudug State, Ali Tahir Eid, and deputies from the parliament of that administration, as well as members of the government of the state located in central Somalia.

The Speakers of the two chambers of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold a joint meeting with the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who has been in Dosmarib for approximately two months to intensify the ongoing military operations in the states of Galmudug and Hirshabelle.
