 The Somali President meets the Ethiopian Prime Minister in Saudi Arabia

Yesterday, Friday, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, met with the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, on the sidelines of the Saudi-African Summit, hosted by the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

During the meeting, according to the Somali News Agency “SONA”, bilateral and regional issues of common interest and the built cooperation that has existed between the two countries for a long time were discussed.

On Friday, President Mahmoud arrived in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to participate in the Saudi-African summit and the joint Arab-Islamic summit, coming from the United Arab Emirates, where he underwent some medical examinations.
