After the awful defeat, Ronaldo turns his back on the United fans

The Portuguese star and Manchester United club, Cristiano Ronaldo, refused to go to the fans to greet them after the horrific defeat he suffered against the Brentford team, and went directly to the dressing room.

Cristiano Ronaldo looked angry after his team suffered a crushing defeat of four goals without a response at Brentford Stadium, and left the stadium without greeting the fans, although he exchanged words with assistant coach Steve McClaren, and Ronaldo continued his way to the tunnel leading to the dressing rooms without even shaking hands with coach Eric Ten Hag.

United fans booed the Red Devils and many of them attacked legend Ronaldo on social media for what they saw as disrespect on his part. Instead, Ronaldo exchanged what appeared to be indignant words with McLaren and quickly walked off the field.

And one Red Devils fan tweeted: "Whatever you think of his situation, it's not a good look." Another wrote: "Part of the problem. Cancel his contract. Sign Evan Toni. Hardworking and strong young man who shakes defenders."

But some fans insist Ronaldo was right in his anger after Manchester United's formidable defense left his side down 0-4 in the first half. One argued, "It's his right to be angry. It's not his fault. His defense conceded these four bad goals. Why is the spotlight always on him?"

It is noteworthy that Manchester United is currently at the bottom of the league ladder after two defeats from its first two matches in the Premier League football championship. Although Erik Ten Hag claims he wants and expects Ronaldo to stay, the Dutchman admits that United's current squad is unacceptable. "We expected a different start," he told Sky Sports. "It seems that what happened last season has entered this season. We need new players, good players."
