Mbappe leads PSG to their first victory over Juventus

 Kylian Mbappe sparkled as Paris Saint-Germain opened its Champions League campaign with a 2-1 victory at home to Juventus on Tuesday, his first ever victory over the Italian team. Mbappe opened the scoring with a superb goal, as Neymar sent a falling pass to the French international inside the penalty area, which the latter shot on the bird to the left of the goalkeeper.

Mbappe added the second goal in the first half after receiving a pass from Ashraf Hakimi from the right, which he met with a direct shot from inside the penalty area to enter the net. Substitute Weston McKinney reduced the difference after the break, taking advantage of the French champions' poor performance.

Juventus had several chances to equalise, but goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma made several attempts to ensure that Saint-Germain defeated the "old lady" for the first time in 9 matches.
