 The UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is taking steady steps to achieve the goals of sustainable development in line with its ambitious vision, in accordance with human values, and harnesses all the necessary legislative and executive elements and the state's capabilities and energies to ensure the full protection of human rights without distinction or discrimination.

In this regard, political analyst Ghassan Al-Amoudi stressed that the UAE, since its founding, has continued its distinguished path and achievements in all fields, foremost of which is human rights, and is making great strides towards achieving human rights leadership to strengthen the human rights system, and electing the UAE as a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council. , for three times, the last of which was during the period 2022-2024, confirms its leadership in this file as a prominent partner in improving the human rights situation worldwide.

He said, "The UAE has a pioneering role in the field of human rights protection at the international and global level, and its approach is based on the principles of justice, equality, respect for others, humanitarian work, tolerance, cultural diversity, and observance of human rights. The country's constitution formed the constructive basis for ensuring equality, social justice, and civil and religious freedoms."

The wealth of the homelands

Al-Amoudi pointed out that the UAE has made many achievements in supporting the basic rights of man, keeping pace with its civilized vision, which considers that man is the real and permanent wealth of the homeland, and its most precious resource that must be continuously developed, and for this reason it sought to guarantee his rights and freedoms and drafted many laws and legislations for this purpose. To protect his rights in line with its commitment to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international agreements in this regard, including: the Anti-Human Trafficking Law, the Child Protection Law, the People of Determination Rights Law, the Juvenile Offenders Law and other laws and decisions that affirm the UAE's keenness to protect human rights.
