The National Advisory Council meeting was postponed for technical reasons

 The meeting of the National Consultative Council, which President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud called for, was postponed indefinitely, today, Saturday, for technical reasons.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said, “This important meeting to accelerate state building, especially the war against the Kharijites, completing the constitution, and other crucial matters has been postponed for a short period.”

Some reports linked the postponement of the meeting to a dispute between the federal leadership and some regional state leaders, and the President of Puntland State, Said Deni, one of those invited to participate in the meeting, had previously announced that he would not participate in it.
