 German coach Jurgen Klopp confirmed that he was angry when he had to talk about the date of the FIFA World Cup "Qatar 2022" before the start of the new season of the English Premier League. Liverpool, led by Klopp, will start his new season (2022-2023) in the "Premier League", tomorrow, Saturday, against his guest Fulham, who is returning to the spotlight.

Klopp said, during the press conference devoted to facing Fulham, when asked whether the new season is still a long marathon or two sprints thanks to the World Cup: “The second part is definitely not a race for speed, because we play the first match after the championship on December 26 and the season ends. "I wasn't angry at first about all these things, but just talking about these things now makes me so angry," he added. He explained, "My problem is that everyone knows that the dates and schedule for the season are not right, but no one talks about it enough, something must change."

He continued, "The International Federation, European Union, England or the English Premier League, please hold a conference with each other once, where the most important topic for discussion is the most important part of the game and they are the players." Klopp concluded his speech, saying: "The World Cup is being held at the wrong date for the wrong reasons."
