Mbappe sheds tears of defeat and wins the Golden Boot

 Although French striker Kylian Mbappe lost the World Cup final with his national team, "Roosters", on Sunday evening, in a dramatic match against Argentina, he won the Golden Boot award for being the tournament's top scorer, and achieved numbers that others had not reached in decades.

Thus, Mbappe's total of goals in the World Cup in Qatar reaches 8, a number that has not been achieved since the World Cup in South Korea and Japan in 2002, and the top scorer at the time was Brazilian Ronaldo with 8 goals.

It is not easy for a player to score 3 goals in the World Cup final match, and only two players, one of whom was Mbappe, achieved it. He was preceded by the English top scorer Geoff Hurst, who scored 3 goals against West Germany in the 1966 World Cup final.

At the coronation ceremony after the match, French President Emmanuel Macron handed the Golden Boot award to Mbappe. It seemed that mixed feelings dominated Mbappe between winning the personal title and the loss suffered by the French national team.
