Riyadh Season Cup.. Saudi Arabia hosts the "Messi and Ronaldo" summit

The friendly match is part of the activities of the Riyadh season, and it will take place on the grounds of King Fahd International Stadium at five o'clock GMT. Ronaldo moved to the ranks of victory in a resounding surprise this January in a free transfer deal after his contract with Manchester United was terminated. The match will be the 37th confrontation between Ronaldo and Messi, after the two played face to face in many tournaments with their previous clubs, and two friendly matches with their national teams.

Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr stars will be trained by Argentine coach Marcelo Gallardo, the historical coach of the River Plate team, and he is expected to rely on “Don” in the starting line-up. This historic confrontation is witnessing unparalleled interest, as the head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, revealed that all tickets for the upcoming meeting had been sold, after the number of people wishing for it exceeded the two million mark. Al-Sheikh commented, saying during televised remarks: "Indeed, the number of requests for tickets exceeded more than two million requests, which is a historical record in football. I do not think it happened before."
