But this exit may not be completely comfortable, when the user follows the traditional method of exiting the "WhatsApp" groups, as it gives others a notice that he has left the group, which may cause him to be embarrassed, especially if it is a group of friends and colleagues at work.

The traditional method that detects the departed is based on the following steps:

1. The user swipes his finger on the group from the right.
2. To click on the word (More) or more
3. A list of commands will appear, all in blue, and the last option (Exit Group) will be in red.
4. When clicking on the last option, another window will appear asking the user if they are sure of the option to leave the group.
5. After leaving, a note will appear to everyone that the owner of such and such number has left the group.

The new method

The instant communication application has started to activate the "silent departure" feature recently, according to the British newspaper "Daily Mail". It means that users can now leave groups without the app sending a notification to the rest of the users about this step.

The new method first needs to update the “WhatsApp” application if it is not up to date. And only when this step is satisfied, during leaving you will see a note saying that only group administrators will be notified of your leaving.

But this is not enough for some, as embarrassment is possible with group moderators, so what should be done? Users can leave the group without its moderators noticing by disabling Read Receipts from the "Privacy" menu in Settings.

This means that your contacts will not know if you have seen their message.
