Laftagrin reaches the city of Qanahtiri

 The President of Southwestern Somalia, Abdulaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagrin, arrived yesterday, Wednesday, in the city of Qansahtiri in the Bay region of the state.

Leftagrin is accompanied on this visit by officials from the Somali federal government and South West State, including the Somali Minister of Defense, Abdelkader Mohamed Nour, the Minister of Environment in the state government, and army officers.

His visit to the city of Qanashtiri aims to inspect the conditions of its residents and intensify the second phase of operations against the Al-Shabaab movement, which is active in different areas of South West State.
