The former head of Galmudug state, Mohamed Ahmed Alam, has passed away.
The former President of Galmudug State, Mohamed Ahmed Alam, died in the British capital, London, as a result of suffering a severe stroke, a news that surprised the Somali people who appreciated and respected him.
Alam held many government positions, as he was a senior officer in the National Intelligence Agency in 1975. He also worked in the Somali Embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as being the head of Galmudug State, located in central Somalia, from 2009 to 2012.
The President of Galmudug State, Ahmed Abdi Kariya “Goor Goor,” and other Somali politicians offered condolences to the Somali people, who were greatly affected by the news, and to the family of the deceased.
