The Prime Minister chairs a meeting discussing the security situation in the country
On Sunday, Prime Minister of the Somali Federal Government, Hamza Abdi Barre, chaired a meeting that discussed the security situation in the country, the elimination of Al-Shabaab terrorists, and how to strengthen security forces in the capital.The meeting was attended by the Minister of Defense, the Acting Minister of Internal Security, army and police commanders, the director of the agency, the Attorney General, the Governor of Banadir Province, and the Mayor of Mogadishu.
Discussions focused on enhancing the security of the capital during the month of Ramadan due to terrorist militants targeting civilians who perform their religious duties. The Prime Minister urged the security services to be vigilant during these days when people are fasting and to ensure that no one is harmed by the militants.
Prime Minister Hamzah pointed out the importance of eliminating the militants of the terrorist Al-Shabaab movement, and preventing it from shedding the blood of the Somali people.
