The Somali president arrives in Saudi Arabia

 Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud and his accompanying delegation arrived in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the official invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Somali presidency indicated in a statement that President Hassan Sheikh and King Salman will hold a meeting on strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries, security, trade and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

The statement added that Somalia is linked to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with deep fraternal relations, as the people and government of Somalia remember the support that the Kingdom showed to their brothers in Somalia during difficult times.
