After Real Madrid's victory over Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday, coach Carlo Ancelotti said that Benzema's participation in the capital's summit depends on his return to training on Saturday.

But Benzema will not be the only absentee from the derby, as his colleague Lucas Vazquez will not be able to participate either, while Eder Militao is just returning from a muscle strain.

On the other hand, Atletico Madrid is also suffering from the curse of injuries, which affected goalkeeper Jan Oblak, Thomas Lemar, Stefan Savic, Jose Maria Jimenez and Sergio Reguilon. These players did not participate against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League in the middle of the week, and none of them trained normally, Thursday.
