An air strike targeted a house in the city of Jilb, southern Somalia

 Reports received from the city of Jalab in Central Juba Province in Jubbaland State, southern Somalia, indicated that a drone strike likely to be American occurred in the city yesterday.

The reports added that the drone targeted with two missiles a house in the city, which is considered one of the main strongholds of the Al-Shabaab movement, without revealing the human losses resulting from this raid.

Neither the Somali government nor the United States has issued any official comments yet, except for Al-Shabaab, which claimed that an American drone struck a civilian home, wounding two people, including an 11-year-old girl.
