The Somali President holds a meeting with the army leadership

 Today, Wednesday, Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud held a meeting with the leaders of the Somali Armed Forces at the headquarters of the Somali Ministry of Defense.

President Mahmoud listened to a comprehensive briefing from army generals regarding the military operations against Al-Shabaab taking place in the country’s regions.

The Somali Army Commander, Major General Ibrahim Sheikh Muhyiddin, commanders of the naval and air forces, and the Deputy Commander of the Somali Land Forces, in addition to prominent military figures, attended the meeting.
