The Somali Disaster Management Agency has issued a warning regarding the potential impact of Tropical Cyclone Lali, which is currently brewing in the Indian Ocean. The agency indicated that the cyclone is expected to affect the coastal areas of the states of Jubbaland and the southwest, in addition to the Banadir region. The cities that may be severely affected include Mogadishu, Barawe, Kismayo, Marka, Jamami, and Badadi.

It advised residents living near coastal areas to remain vigilant and exercise extreme caution in the face of this impending natural disaster, and urged them to stay informed of the hurricane's progress and follow any evacuation orders or safety guidelines issued by local authorities.

The agency also called on local and international organizations to cooperate in preparing for the potential impact of the hurricane, including ensuring that emergency response teams are properly equipped and that relief supplies and medical assistance are readily available.
