A strong blow to Portugal .. the absence of the attacking star from the World Cup

 Portugal's fortunes in the 2022 World Cup were dealt a severe blow, by announcing the absence of one of the most prominent attacking stars from the tournament due to injury. And German coach Jurgen Klopp announced that Liverpool and Portugal striker Diogo Jota will miss the World Cup due to the injury he suffered against Manchester City.

Jota was injured in the summit meeting between Liverpool and Man City on Sunday evening, after suffering a calf muscle injury. Jota's absence represents a major blow to Portugal's chances in the World Cup, as he is considered one of the team's most important offensive weapons alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafael Leao.

It is noteworthy that Portugal participates in Group H of the World Cup, along with Uruguay, Ghana and South Korea. It will be a very strong group so Portugal will have to strive hard to get past the rounds of the tournament
